HUGGIES!!!!! They constantly send coupons, they are cheaper than the Costco brand when you buy them in bulk, and they don't smell like diapers the way Pampers do.
I used Pampers Swaddlers for the Infant size (mostly b/c that's what the hospital gave us, but also because they seemed to be the best for that tiny size) but I've used Huggies ever since. Luvs were okay when I was in a bind (and they were the only ones Don's Market carried in the right size at the time), but definitely Huggies.
Huggies...because they sell them at costco. BUT, don't ever buy a cheap brand/store brand. It doesn't save you money because they don't hold as much so you're changing diapers more often. AND they leak. It's worth it to buy GOOD diapers.
k, i seriously believe that huggies work better for girls and pampers work better for boys. so, i vote huggies, but only after you use the pampers swaddlers until she is out of a size 1. those things are great for new babies. the end.
I use the Huggies gentle care. They work great, I like the gentle care ones because they are a lot softer and who wants not soft stuff rubbing on their bum!
Definitely Pampers until size 2. They are softer and I think they hold everything in soooooo much better. With Ethan we tried all of them and all but the Pampers leaked, which meant lots of changes of clothes. I think after size 2 whatever is the cheapest works. I even used generic brands when Ethan got bigger and never had a problem. Just don't use them for over night. Melissa
pampers for girls, huggies for boys...don't know its just something about the way they pee:) I'm with Melissa once they're old enough to not have blowouts I go with the Target brand, cheap and I've never had a leak yet...tested by my boy and girl for over 2 years:)
